Snack Attack



Does your child come to The REC on a regular basis?

Well, perhaps maybe now they will want to.

Every Friday, starting October 11, we will be offering an after school snack program, called SNACK ATTACK, for our K-6 kids.

With guidance from our knowledgeable staff, kids will learn how to make a healthy, easy to prepare, after school snack. Anything from peeling and slicing their own apple for a yummy PB & Apple treat to preparing a personalized Chex™ mix.

We will educate kids about nutrition and how making good dietary choices can have a positive effect on their mind and body.

Menus will be posted to assist in avoiding conflicts with dietary restrictions and allergies. At times, substitutions or alternatives can be provided upon request. Pre-registration is required.

Cost is $1.00 per after school Snack Attack.  A Snack Pack punch card can be purchased below.

Snack Packs come in $5 or $10 denominations. Your child’s Snack Pack punch card will be waiting for them at The REC. Punch cards will remain with the instructor so there is no need to worry about them getting lost.

To ensure we have enough snacks to prepare, please register your child by noon the day of.
